Default Can a H3 HID kit fit in the stock WRX foglights?

Hello,

I've done a search but I'm unable to confirm this so please help me out if you can Anyways, I have a customer who is looking to buy a H3 HID kit from me and I can't confirm whether or not the bulbs will fit the stock foglight housing for a 2002-2003 Impreza. The HID bulbs has a H3 base but the OEM bulbs are the smaller bulbs rather than the regular bulbs that we use for our high/low beams. The HID bulbs are approximately 40mm (1 and 5/8") long. Thank you for any informaiton that you can provide me.

hmm if you post to your regional forum that you need a test car and offer a free kit, you'd get your answer.
