Default Stock foglight installation (98 OBS)

Hi guys,

I picked up a set of stock fog lights & the switch to install in my 98 OBS.

Looking under the hood, I can't find any harness to go to the lights. I found the harness for the switch under my dash (brown connector plugged in to a blank) , but I can't find anything for the lights themselves.

I checked behind the headlights, and I unwrapped the wire harness on the drivers side from under the car, but I don't see anything in there either.

Since I appear to have the wiring for the fog light switch, I would assume I have the wiring for the lights themselves, right?

Do you have a cruise control? If yes, the plug you've found must be for the fog switch. If no and there's only one plug, it's for a cc switch.

If I remember right when I installed my foglights, there is a white connector up on the left front corner of the car right by the horn and the battery where the fog light harness connects into. Then there is a relay that you have to install under the dash as well as the switch. I have a 98 L and the fog lights are the same.

I have two connectors under the dash - one for cruise and the other I assume is for the fog lights.

I'll look for the white connetor by the horn. I don't have the relay in the fog lights that I bought - how can I find out what I need?

The two connectors under the dash are for the cruise switch and the other is for the foglight switch. The relay part number is 82501AA130. I will look this weekend to see if I still have my installation instructions. I will let you know probably monday.

hey kermit ! thanks for your help - I appreciate it.

I took a look around the horn but didn't see any connectors (it was dark out).

I'll be working on the cars a bit today so I'll look closer for that white connector.
