God that sucks. Not only does it look horrendous, but are they actually trying to insinuate that the PT Crapper is fast? or a hot rod? Some idiot will buy that thing anyway.

Where was this? Jack Miller in Olathe?

The aforementioned dealership sells a ton of those PT Cruisers because they can purchase them for cheaper than other dealerships. At least, that's the story they gave me when I asked 'em what they were doing selling Plymouths.

Apparently, they aren't subject to some of the restrictions the Dodge/Plymouth dealerships must follow since Jack Miller isn't an official Dodge/Plymouth dealer. Consequently, they can mark them up just a bit, sell really high volumes, and turn a decent profit on the vehicles.

A smart idea...but I told them that being a huge Subaru fan, I found it a tad sacriligious.

hahaha.... I like it! Flame away, but I think it's cool. It's not for everybody, but neither are semi-functional basket handle rear wings.

Unfortunately, that flaming PT Cruiser can be beaten by some mini-vans I've seen blasting through the Washington DC Beltway.

That got me thinking about how when I drove across Ohio in August, I saw like 11+ PT cruisers and not a single RS - come on you OH guys, what's up?

BTW, I was in a rental car, not my RS.

The least they could have done was put some rims on that thing for goodness sake.
Chris

I like it. I will continue to like PT Cruisers until they start to get too common. I wish it was safe, reliable, and had AWD though. Unique looks and great cargo versatility aren't enough to get my money.

I read that they may be putting a AWD system in it. And most likely a turbo in the Dodge version.

It would look good... if it was a nice flame job (lots more flames, not just a one going down the middle!) and had some nice Boyd's chrome wheels on there. Looks like some cheesy dealer add-on to sell the car to idiots.

Dude, the blue ghost is freaky...looks like a grey skeleton pirate, gagged and hung, sat up in the driver's seat.

Can you tell Halloween is in a month.

Arrow

Yes, it was at the Jack Miller Subaru dealership in Olathe.

They keep most of the Subies on the other side of the building, away from this crap. They had TEN Impreza RSs. I took a pic of them too, but it didn't show up. All I got was the reflection from the headlights. Nothing like car shopping at midnight.

Funny thing is everyone I've showed it to at work likes it, but they all hate the Impreza.
