Default Major Engine Problem!!!

I was just driving my car the other night, on Sunday, after returning from the club! As always there is always some dumb ass in a honda that thinks their car is fast! I was on ther freeway, and the honda and I decided to race! As I was climbing in 4th gear my car started to decelerate and then the check engine light started blinking. It was really hard to rev and reved really slow. I continued my way home which was like 2 miles away. The car kinda started to smell like burning oil. As soon as I got of the freeway, I noticed the car was smokin! a lil bit out of the exhaust and it smelt horrible. I took the turn up my hill and the car was runnin so ****ty, boggin, smokin out the exhaust and knocking. As soon as I pulled in I poped my hood and there was oil all over my engine compartment. I looked and there was a hose that is an intake hose that had came off, and it seemed that the oil came from there! I checked the oil level and it was fine. I decided to go to bed and deal with it on monday! So I wake up go to the car and start it and it is knockin so bad, and smokin white smoke all out the exhaust, so I poped the hood and as I reved the motor, there was a pop form by the intake manifold and white smoke came out from there to, and it did it a few times!

I have no clue what is wrong with my car. Could some one please help me. I took it to the shop yesterday, and they still don't know what is wrong. They said they have to call a rep to le them know of the aftermarket parts to see if waranty can cover it!

I bought my car last March brand new, and it has 23k miles on it. My after market parts are a...

Injen Cold air intake, Blitz BOV, Perrin Catless up-pipe, Stromung catless down-pipe, Greddy Evo 3" exhaust, a boost controller @18psi, Sprint lowering springs, 18" Racing Hart White CP 10s, painted skirts, Zero Sports wing adapters, and Black Housing headlamps

I don't know if any of thoose could have cause the damage, I am just really confuessed and upset! I have had all thoose mods for the last 6 months why now?

Also could someone let me know what the waranty deal is if you have aftermarket parts! Thakns Everyone!!!

The good news is I beat the Honda and I pulled a 12.9 at 107mph at the track on Sept 9th and I had a 1.8 60 ft. And only with thoose mods. Stock turbo, stock intercooler!

Well, you can drive my Camry around if you need to until you figure out what's wrong with your WRX... I hope it all works out for you!

can you help me put all my stock parts back on so I can scam the dealership for a warranty? I don't want to pay $80 to have an intercooler hose re-connected.

Question Sounds like.......

.......the only smelly thing here is the story. NO ONE on this board puts 23K miles in six months on their WRX. I doubt that with more than one or two exceptions, there aren't any that drive that in a year.
BTW, I average 50K+/yr.
White smoke from exhaust usually = blown head gasket
Knocking noise might be where you've shoved parts of the turbine into the cylinder.

Scenario:

Flyin' down the freeway, you quickly shift from third to fourth, and the BOV doesn't do it's job. The backpressure from the exhaust disintegrates the turbine blades, and your motor ingests little bits and pieces of turbo. In the process, your turbine has torn a seal, leading to oil and coolant mixing in the exhaust stream. There's your burning smell. The coolant is making white smoke, the oil is slowly being drained off, but not enough for you to tell when you get home and check the oil level. For some reason, you choose to start the vehicle the next morning. Did you clean everything up before you started it???? Maybe find anything you may have missed from the night before????

[serious]Well, the Camry I have now isn't so clean... but I can put a word out on the Camry forums[/serious]

I say you should run without the intercooler so you don't have to worry about that hose coming off. Simple = good.

To cry “Wolf!” To give a false alarm. The allusion is to the well-known fable of the shepherd lad who used to cry “Wolf!” merely to make fun of the neighbours, but when at last the wolf came no one would believe him.

That original thread was awesome!

I don't think I would have turned the guy in, but I fully support the people that did. Self-policing is preferable to having the formal laws made harsher and more restrictive because abusers manage to "beat the system".

Breaking the law is one thing, but breaking the law then bragging about it on a public forum accessible to millions of people... not one of WRXs2fast4U's better ideas. Darwin meets the Internet.

The dealerships are getting together on this...

they're not AT ALL HAPPY about it. Neither is SoA. They're right in the middle of it.

The initial place he went to turned him down. The second place initially said okay, but after seeing all the little telltale signs of modding in his car (and after reading this thread), turned him down. Then he went to a third place, after I already told him that I'd sent the info SoA and all the Seattle dealerships. They got WRXs2Fast4U to sign an affidavit saying that he hadn't modded his car (even though it was OBVIOUS that he had). That right there is an open and shut fraud conviction if they want to go after him. And since he's continuing to try to find a dealer to cover it, and attempting to defraud dealership after dealership, they're getting more and more likely to actually go after him.

Dude, stop tryign to rip these place off. They know abuot you and each additional place you try this on is making it more likely that you're going to end up in jail over it!
hahaha. nice story.
