Have a Nice Day? I was in an unholy land lastnight...

I was at RaceWay Park lastnight, and let me say oh my freeeeeeeeeeeekin God, there were a gazillion civic si's there, all riced out, parked in a large group with their strobs a flashing, I parked far away from them. I was the only scoob that I saw. I didnt run. Just watched, saw a guy dump his ricerocket at the starting line. I also so saw an older Mitsubishi Eclipse early 90s maybe, it was dropped and with rims and huge wing that made it look like a shopping cart, but thats not the funniest thing, this guy must have been running at least 4-5 degrees of negative rear camber no lie....his wheels literely looked like this from the rear.... / \. looked like he was riding on the inside shoulder of the tire.

Oh I was sitting directly accross from my car in my friends impala ss, while they enjoyed some beers, and this kid walked up to my rs and started looking at the back of the car, I thought he was gonna swipe my badge, but he kept his hands in his pockets as he surveyed the whole car. I guess all the civics around made me a little worried. I guess Im stereo typing civic drivers but I dont care. I should have got out of the car and offered to show the intersted kid the workings of an rs but I didnt. O well. Oh when my friends and I went to the car to grab a beer, there were hondas everywhere! I parked quite far away from the them but they just swarmed around me. ahah

If they all had their flashers on they are probably all a club and trying to stay together on the road and get noticed of course

I find taking turns at a Ultra high rate of speed in front of a police officer is a good way of getting noticed

Thats funny, cause I accidently squeeled my wheels rather loudly around a corner right next to a cop... no response whatsoever... I must be driving around with Diplomatic plates or something

That's just as bad as half the hondas lately where I live are getting all these mods but without painting body kits or just two rims not all four. What the hell is going through their minds. I believe in some form of balance. All the same color bodyparts and all the same type wheel. Maybe it is just me.

Hey wraithmk3, some of the Honda drivers that you see running just 2 aftermarket rims are probably taking the other 2 off for the track. i have a friend who runs 17 momos on his civic as a daily driver. they are heavy and he loses traction with the street tires. so he has a set of drag radials on his stock 14's that he throws back on when he go's to the local track. (which happens to be raceway park.)

Cool

you sure its not Riceway Park??

You should have seen me at Santa Pod drag strip in the UK last month.

Biggest road car meet of the year, full of riced up motors plus the odd proper car.

I turned up in rsquires 22B and drove through all the crowds to get it on the show stand. Got some serious respect from all the Max Power brigade. They just loved the 22B, stole the show.
