Default new to the boards here got an 2004 H6-30

new to the board here....found a few other boards however people rarely go on it seems... maybe i have threaded you there.

anyways i'd thought i show you what i've done as far as an intake was consern on my H6. i noticed there is not many hi-po parts for them. i kinda rigged up an intake see pic below

or click on

H6 intake

what you think.

also was wondering on the badges on the rear. If i pull them off will th AWD badge and the H6-3.0 badge leave holes behind on the hatch?

also anyone know where i can get the Japan badges? Looking for Lancaster6 badges.

sorry if you have seen this question and intake pic on the other boards but i thought it would be nice to share what it looks like for someone who hasn't seen it. also anyother insite on the badges would be good.

i used a tube from a weapon r intake (a tubes a tube) however i like the AC Autotechic Air Filter because it has the funnel ram type cone also used a injen heat shield and some silicone hoses to attached them to the air filter and stock post intake box.

i don't see why it wouldn't but then again anyone who tells you they really felt a differance is probably full of it.. ie: getting 15 horses form a K&N.. yeah well maybe if your stock one was dirtty as hell.

however i do know this.. sometimes when you bolt on these types of intakes on a low torque motors you will fill less low end... almost a bogging sensation.

also know i am still getting fresh outsdie air though this filter... also with the two vents in the hood hot air exits out easy leaving out worries of traped hot ait returning though the intake. but then again could an open air cleaner with hot air entering it really make a differance in performance... i run an open air cleaner in my 11 sec old american car and don't seem to effect that.

things that make you go hum?
