Smile new 1/4mi times

So.... I ran the 'ol GT again few nights ago for a good comparison to my times last year (temp was about the same - 62F)

this is at ALTITUDE - 5900' above sea level

Last year I ran a 17.2@80.5 on a nice 65F night (correlates to a 15.9@86.8 with NHRA convertion factors) with DIY CAI, pulleys, Brullen quiet catback

then I added my MRT header

new best:
16.8@81.75 - NHRA convertion = 15.6@88.1

both times are with a pathetic 60' no matter what I do it either bogs or slips ( mostly slips, I need a new clutch /ricer excuse on)

But hey, that MRT header/cat picked up 3-4 tenths! not bad for $330!

btw, me GT weighed in at 3200# with me in it - and I weigh a scant 160 (yes, scant, I am 6'2") so that make the car around 3040# - sweet

I'll be back in spring, hopefully with a new clutch and runing 16.6's (stock rsx-s's run 16.6-16.8 up here )

later- chad
