How is the surface out therre? Tarmac?

There's so much tarmac they call it the "Black Lake"

And the black lake is several acres of the best asphalt you'll find anywhere. Smooth. No poles, signs, drains, bumps, or obstructions on the entire surface and 50+ feet of smooth runoff in all directions.

It's quite possibly the best and safest autocross site I've ever seen.

That's gonna make it hard for all of us HSCC people, what will we do if we don't have light poles, curbs, and parking blocks to dodge?

Yeah I won't know what to do without poles and blocks to dodge. I think I might not go now.

I've only been running STi on Concrete..Rough concrete at that. Should be a WHOLE new dynamic when the Kumho's hit the tarmac!!

Wow...No light poles or grass growing up through the surface? Hmmmmm, How am I supposed adapt to that! Geezsh!!!

Still, keep your eyes peeled for workers. Some car almost took out Brian Flanagan and I at the SE Divisional #1. Note to self, do not stand next to the spare cones.

When you're workin', don't be carrying a cone with you when trying to get out of the way. Car go where dah cone go.

Yeah, how are we highlands people even going to know where the course is? Are you going to mark it with cones or something?
