Lightbulb New ides on how to keep the MAS from blowing tell me what u think

Hey ok im sure all the MY99 owner ar sick of the blown MAS bs, in my case i've already blown two. So my idea is u think if i sprayed the outside of the MAS with that Spray dynamat that it would cut down on and vibrations.

You could get a decent filter and secure it well. I think the test had pointed that the main cause was crappy filters letting in stuff and too much vibration, but there are a few companies claiming no blown MAS's on their intake and they just securely attach it to the fender. I doubt dynamatting it will really help, though.

The internal electronics of an MY99 MAF are already encapsulated in a very soft, almost viscoelastic, silicone rubber. I don't see how the Dynamat stuff would improve upon that.
