Default Omori EGT gauge wiring

OK, I have wired up my gauges, but the elec. egt gauge has a brown wire with it that I can't figure out is needed for. There isn't anything in the instructions about this brown wire either, any guesses?...

It is not used. Omori electric gauges use a standard 5 pin power wire - red, white, 2 black, brown on all electric gauges - no Omori that I am familar with use the brown wire and the 2 black are connected internally.

iirc, the harness or wiring for the omoris are all the same for all gauges. the brown wire is meant for the 60mm gauges that have the peak/hold/warning feature. the brown wire can be used to light up an external led.

Ah, that is right it is an ground output - none of my installations have used it. Omori just uses the same harness on all electric meters whether they are needed or not. However for instance mech boost gauges just have a black and white for the lighting - no harness.
