Default Need paintwork? 2 highly recommended local shops

For anyone that needs paint or body work, be it spray or powder coating, these two bay area shops have always done beyond outstandiung work.

Rich and Frank over at Daland Body Shop have taken care of my car on numerous occasions. Daland has rolled my fenders, painted a Defi pod I once had, aligned my car, and body and paint work as well. WagonMonster can vouch for them -- he just got his car back after loosing a fight with a garden hose on 101.

AJ over at West Coast Powder Coating ( in South San Francisco ) hooked up my SDR's when I wanted to take them from gold to black. I can't remember what he charged me, but it was reasonable for the quality of work. Here's his info: (650) 871-0400. AJ also throws serious game behind the wheel -- i'm sure he still has the fastest lap over at lemans karting .

I'm not trying to sound overly gratuitous, but these guys are all my friends ( lemans, too ), and deserve the plug. I've had experiences with other shops in the area that could've been schooled by your blind grandma with a can of Krylon -- I just want to help point people in the right direction.

good luck!
roland.

Yes, Daland does excellent work!

Even before my Garden Hose Incident, my front bumper was in really bad shape.

Well, they removed it, removed all the fittings, sanded it and repainted it and put it all back together.

It now looks BETTER than the day my car was new!

I really can't give you an idea, it all depends on the job. IF you need something done, give 'em a call, they don't bite.
