HydeX - Welcome to the iClub. Also, congratulations on your purchase. I also just bought a blue Impreza RS coupe.

I haven't made many modifications to my Impreza (yet) because I'm currently working in Dallas - my RS in Kansas City.

I have already "cleared" all of the lights on my Imp, though, and it sure looks better. If you don't mind waiting on the performance areas and wish to make some quick and easy cosmetic upgrades, I'd suggest buying clear corner lights, clear front turn signals, clear side markers, and red/clear tail clusters.

The first things you should do for mods are tires and rear anti-roll bar. They make a huge difference.

HydeX,

Get a real big "R-Type" Decal to cover you entire back window... then cut off your muffler and replace it with a Folgers 3lb can. (which technically isnt a performance mod, although some Honda guys will argue that the decal will give you 5hp!)

Welcome to the club!

A simple and inexpensive mod that would greatly improve your handling is ... Trunkmonkey!!
..worked for me!

Welcome to the club! Oh, and BTW, you may want to do some searches in the Technical forum to answer your question(s) now and in the future.
In general, though, mod order will depend highly on what you want to do with your car. You wanna make it look prettier - get wings/clear lenses/etc. You want to make it turn better - upgrade your suspension and tires. Want more power? There are numerous options there as well.

Yeah, first mod is definitly clear lenses all around (replace the stock bulbs to), then it needs foglight covers, Vr5 wing, rear spats, and painted sides, have fun working..
