Cool

That's what copy and paste are for. Basically, people were abusing the signatures so they turned it off. I guess they figure that if you're going to go through the time and effort to copy and paste (like me), all the more power to you.

Trunkmonkey is here! There is no cone...

Post

there are two problems with signatures: clutter and searching.

clutter is self-explanatory, but searching is not. the problem is that if people start listing all their mods, etc. in a tagline when someone wants to find discussions about KYB AGX struts (for example) they find a whole lot of useless crap because it's in a zillion threads as a tagline.

Hmmmmm... should be a little 'Mod' icon in the top bar of our posts that leads to our Mod section on the member's section. That'd be cool.

Cool

Yeah over on ClubSi we have this new 'extended profile' that lets us list our mods, by category and up to 4 pictures with descriptions... I'm assuming it's a standard UBB feature, but someone might want to clear that up...

As Rich said, at clubsi, you can use a signature.. no biggie, just wondering. I just figured out how to do it over there, and wanted to try it here.

To avoid this:http://www.highlifter.com/ubb/noncgi/Forum4/HTML/001835.htmlLook at some of these mods in the signature. El Camino anyone?

I'd really like to keep any similarities between the iClub and ClubSi to a bare minimum.

Have a Nice Day?

Woaa ur correct Colin, the second problem does throw things out of wack. I did a search for trunkmonkey and sean's sig throws the search off. Who would have thunk? But sean owns the turnkmonkey so he can abuse it if he wants

I like it the way it is. It's fast and efficient. I don't care what ppl have in their car. That's when you post the question of a certain part you're looking for. Those sigs I came across at ClubSi (not that I even go there! makes me feel defiled! ) are dang doppy.....
Razo pedals,
Type-R badge,
race fuel cap,
Ractive shifter
some no name muffler can.

Maybe it's the psychological part of me acting up....but sometimes I wonder are these ego talk? Tryin to show one upmanship cus of their insecurities?
