Default Cibie Oscar Question

I was thinking about buying some Cibie Oscar driving lights from Scooby Sport, but I am not sure if the fog light covers that I have will fit over them. Anyone tried this yet. This is for a MY00 2.5rs. Thank you very much for your time!

Sean

I've seen this on a few cars; Subaru covers will not fit the Cibie lights. Any location that low should have fog lights, anyway.

Hella 500s do the same thing.

I just got my Cibie driving lamps from Rallyperformance today. I will be mounting them in the stock fog light holes. I don't have a light bar, plus I would rather have them in them mounted in the foglight holes for asthetics. Wiring is going to be a bit complicated, as well as mounting in the stock location. I will report back once I get them installed, and hopefully with some pictures too.

Yotsuya- I already have hella 500's mounted inbetween the front liscense plate holder on a custom light bar. I was just going to put the Cibie's in the stock holes so that I could have a little more light output at the nighttime. Plus they have a higher wattage than the 500's. Thanks for your input. Later

Well I got them installed tonight, wired it up to the foglight switch by just taping the foglight wire. Will have to do the other foglight mod so that I can use the driving lamps no matter what other light I am using, as of now I can only use the driving lamps with low beams. The other problem is one of my bulbs shipped broken so I only have one that works, but damn its bright, can't wait to have two on at the same time, with my high beams as well
