Default yet another SilverStar thread (Osram!)

First, this is NOT going to be another 'blue is better' thread -- I know my basic physics and optics.

Here's the question -- Does anyone know where/if the OSRAM SilverStar bulbs are available in the U.S. ?

These are the clear ones, not the blue tinted Sylvania version.

www.suvlights.com is in the US and has them.

I think Daniel Stern lighting sells them as well: lighting.mbz.org

I just ordered a pair for my '04 RS and they're fantastic. No blue coating but MUCH more light thrown down the road compared to stock.

I ordered mine from Daniel Stern last Tuesday around noon EDT and they shipped that day and were at my house the next. Great service, shipping's included in the price. I paid $24 for the pair. Daniel's a great guy that will take the time to answer all of your questions. Highly recommended!!

FWIW I replaced my High-Beams with Philips' 9005BL and my Fogs with Candlepower 4530G (Gold).

They are the equivalent to the Philips Vision Plus and in a test actually outperformed them slightly. If you do a search for +50% bulb test there should be a link.
