Default Enkei RP02-J Wheels

Hey everyone, I'm advertising a group buy for a friend here (yes, it's been approved). He's been on this board a very long time, his login is ralyrcr and he'll be the one running the group buy. The following information is directly from him:

I'm running a group buy on Enkei RP02-J rims to fit most any 5 bolt Subaru. These rims are brand new from Enkei. They are 17 inches in diameter, and 7 and Ĺ inches wide. They have a 5x100 bolt pattern with a 48mm offset, perfect for any WRX. The list price from Enkei is $860 per set, but they are being sold here for an unbelievable $650. Buyers to pay actual UPS ground shipping costs. Please email me for a shipping quote.

Wheel Information:
- 17 inch x 7 Ĺ inches
- 5x100 bolt pattern
- 48 mm offset
- Super light 15.7 lbs. same as Volk Racing TE-37 (same size)
- Very strong Enkei construction
- Includes center caps with hardware, and bolt in valve stems

Includes 4 lightweight rims, bolt in valve stems, and center caps with the center cap mounting hardware. The rims come in the silver finish pictured above only.

Group Buy Details:
This is a great deal with a cost savings of $210 on these very high quality rims. I'm running this deal with a minimum order size of 14 sets. Once I have 14 orders I will request payment, and then I will place the order. Rims should ship out about 1 week after the order closes. Please only sign up for this Buy if you are serious, I will keep a list of all those who sign up, and once I have 14 orders I will close the group buy, and request payment.

For more information please feel free to visit: http://www.geocities.com/ralyrcr/index.html
Or email me at ralyrcr@hotmail.com

Payment information:
I will be accepting payment via cashiers check, money order or via Paypal. Please also contact me before sending in payment if sending cashiers check or money order. Please note if you choose to pay via Paypal, that there will be an additional 3.0% added to your entire order including to the shipping costs to cover Paypal fees. This comes to an additional 19.50 on the rims + an additional 3.0% on shipping. Please send money orders and cashiers checks to:

Jonathan Wolkomir
4643 Brown Thrush Trl.

"are these hubcentric? if not, are the hub rings included?"

I'm not sure though i will be sure to check with Enkei tommorow and post the answer.

"how about caliper clearance? what are the brakes that it will or will not clear?"

Should clear all stock impreza calipers including WRX, Enkei couldn't give me a clear answer on STi brakes so we have a set comming to test fit onto an STi i'm hoping that by early next week i will be able to tell you for sure.

how about lugnuts?

Theses rims work just fine on stock lugs though i can supply socket lugs, or lighweight lugs for rays, i will post pricing on optional lug stuff very soon.

awesome pricing btw!! glad you think so! i though so too!

thanks for the q's i will be posting more answers as soon as i have them

Hey Jon, thanks for the quick reply. Once you can confirm that they do clear the STi Brembos, please put me down for a set. Please email me a shipping quote for 90014.

Thanks again!

Cool

ok everyoine here is the scoop:

"are these hubcentric? if not, are the hub rings included?"
yes the rims come with the correct hub rings

STI UPDATE: Enkei says they will fit, however tueday afternoon we will be test fiting a set to an actual STi to be certian, so by tuesday night it should be posted.

Also i have had several email looking for a wider version, unfortunatly no wider version is available for the subaru pattern, though i will be extending this buy to mitsu Evo owners, the EVO size in 17 inch by 9 inch! with a 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern and a 35 mm offset, the price for lancer wheels is 15.00 more per wheel, so the total pcakege goes to 710.00 for EVO wheels. Beside Enkei not making them there ios no way a larger wheel would fit into a subaru wheel well, so i guess its a moot point.

ok keep emailing me if you want to get signed up!

Unhappy

Well I'm very sorry to report that the rims did not clear the STI brakes

its prety close but close only counts in hourse shoes and hand granades!

this may kill they buy as the main interest seems to be with STI owners so i'll let everyone know once i crunch the numbers.

IS there an option to get 7 spoke ones? I was pretty sure that Enkei had a model like that tho I can't remember the style name.

Thanks

Question

How about the RC5 instead. The Enkei Japan site says the RC5 in 17 x 8 fits the GDB (STi).

19 is a bit high, RO_JA list them at 14.7, and after reading this i threw one on the shipping scale, and it says 16lbs flat, so thats what i'm willing to stand by.

thanks
