Default upgraded fuel filter

I was wondering if anyone could answer probably a dumb question. Is it possible to put on an straight thru filter like AEM? I know there might be some modifing of the hoses cuz the filters have thread instead of the slip on nozzles like the OEM one. Would iy be too pricey to modifiy?

Thanx

AFAIK, the aftermarket filters don't filter any better, they just flow more.

Are you running some big fuel system with fuel pressure regulation, a bigger pump, and bigger injectors? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'll do some homework, but I think even the tuned WRX's that have all of the above are still running the stock fuel filter.

yea, if subaru put on crudy fuel filters then that would just be stupid. dont worry about it, even the guys runnning turbo upgrades still use the old oem one. i have a turbo transplant and the 95 filter is just fine.
