Post CEL Vanished!?

I installed my turbo back and the cel came on 40 miles into it. A very odd thing happened this morning. I started the car and the CEL was GONE!? I have reset the car two times (once before the install and then again after the first CEL). I have driven ~70 miles with the CEL on. I woke up, went to start the car and....that little puppy vanished. Hmmmm, i have no idea why that happened?
suggestions?

same thing happened to me this weekend. I reset the ECU twice, once early last week, and both times the CE cam back. THen i let the car sit for two days, and whala, the ce is gone. no reset, just didnt dive it for two days.

my old RS did this everh now and then. not sure what to think about it yet. The only thing I did to it was put back on the stock boost controller instead of the MBC.

still doenst completely add up. something tells me the ecu is still learning, but i doubt it.

IIRC, the OBDII works this way. The ECU does not light up the CEL right away when it finds some non-critical problem. It takes the problem exists for three drive cycles before the CEL actually comes on. If the problem "fixes" itself for three drive cycle, the ECU clears the CEL assuming the problem is gone.
