Default JDM downpipe, catless midpipe and rear section

I have a JDM downpipe, with a cat, and catless midpipe, and either a Dynomax or Powermax muffler, I can't remember. I bought this used system privately a week or so ago and my mechanic won't mount it because it has only one cat. The system will bolt up to a WRX, but the midpipe will need a hanger welded on the driver side of the pipe. I tried mounting it myself this past week, but I couldn't get one of the bolts off of my downpipe. The system is in good shape with no cracks whatsoever. I bought it for 200 a week ago, I would like to get about the same. I can be emailed at kbcr3@marist.edu.

I prefer to sell in the NJ area. I am willing to drive about 50 miles to meet and exchange.

This system was for my daily commuting car, so i really can't leave my car too far from work. And at 30 bucks an hour, i'm not leaving work early or coming in late. The mechanic said its the stupid EPA thing. I tried to put it on myself, but I couldn't torque the bolts enough on the downpipe.

Hey sorry to hear about this. If you want next time i'm back down in the trisate area i could put it on for you and just do without the hanger or try to do it afterwards. There should definitely be a shop that can put this on for you though.

Yeah, the shop just called back and told me that they won't even tighten the bolts where the up-pipe connects to the turbo. They don't want to touch the car at all. ughhh.

Huh, why did you loosen the upipe bolts, did you put in an upipe too. If you can get someone in your area to help you get the downpipe on, any muffler shop should be able to put the catback on without issues. I put on my downpipe and my catback wasn't the right length so they cut and rewelded the midpipe and installed it in there in 30mins tops. (meineke) You might have to drive with just the downpipe though. My whole car was shaking it was so loud, lol.

oh yeah, sorry. I meant downpipe. I brought it to a midas place down the block. They said they just looked at it for like an hour and decided they didn't feel 'comfortable' messing around near the turbo. I'm gonna some local places in a minute to at least see if they can tighten the bolts on my usdm downpipe.

here's another pic. If anybody wants better pics, then I'll at least pull this stuff out. The downpipe looks exactly the same as the USDM, but like a couple inches longer.
