Question Interior Lights dimming-HELp

On my short drive to work today i noticed my gauge cluster and gauges started dimming and goin back off and on. This has never happend. I turned my radio down and it stopped. I have an amp hook up for my speakers but never saw this in the year and a half its been there. Anyone have a clue??? I dont have pullies, this was all during regular driving.

Is your battery low on charge? How big is the amp because the stock alternator can't handle much of one? Are you losing A/C or something else that a loose belt would cause?

i think i found the problem...my speaker box is not in the car but the cable ends were sitting on top of i stut cover i took off...Could this have done it? Its just gettin g dark enough for me to see it again..im going to check it out soon.
