Well, the penguin is the mascott of Linux and the Open Source movement (Tux is the official mascott, tallest penguin in the back below and to the left of the thermometer). This shot was taken in April of 1999. I've been collecting since February of 1999. I'm up to 200 or 300 of them by now...they all live on the server rack.

All the Trunkmonkeys run free in the yard. We're starting to get complaints.

Trunkmonkey is here! There is no cone...

M a t t - That's my home configuration. I had all the stuff before I started the home business. Now, the home business just pays for the T1.

veowsaku - Ha. Yeah, Maru rocks! From Hello Kitty!

Sean, are you accepting connections from behind a firewall? I can't access your FTP site from work.

Try connecting using passive mode instead of active mode. It's a geek thing, dunno where to set this in IE or Netscape. UNIX FTP has a command line option.

Also, some companies have added trunkmonkey.com to their filter list. Try ftp://ftp.shn.nu/ instead.

I click on the ftp link, and windows opens a normal browser window that shows the two files. But, I can't drag them to my hard drive or copy and paste. How do we get the files, this way or with WSFTP pro?

Larry -- do a context click. Right click on one of the icons, and then choose Copy to Folder.

Hope this helps

me -- the stoopid guy who spent over 24 hours downloading the first file, and then shut it off when there was about 20 megs left!

Man, I'm on Cable and it's soooo sloooow! It says it'll take 1 day and 12 hours to re-download it. Thanx anywayz Sean! Good thing it's a long weekend up here in Canada!

LaterZ!

Question

Anyone hear or know how to fix the "echo" in the sound? Or is it just me...

Wedge, I don't think it's an echo... I'm pretty sure there's one language coming out of the left channel and a different one out of the right... strange though.

Yeah, the audio channels are "separates" The left side is Mandarine, the right side is Cantoneese

I've used the fader all the way to the left and right, but it still sounds like there's some crosstalk between the two languages. Is there a way to fix it? Maybe the audio channels were screwed up when it was ripped out of the VCD?

Is there any loss of quality when converting these into VCD formats?

Oh and Saw Jai, do you have any idea who plays Tang Fung's girlfriend?
