Using the fader still gets crosstalk. You'll need a VCD player designed for multiple languages to totally separate. Don't know of any off the top of my head because my DVD player plays multi language VCDs and automatically splits for me. Then again, my DVD player plays imports and disabled Macrovision so you can, uhm, back up your DVDs.

Oh yeah... I want to back up my 19 gig DVD to my hard drive.

Actually speaking of which, I gotta go buy one of those 80 gig drives I was looking at. Not sure about them being Maxtor drives, but with a 3 year warantee, I guess it's fine by me.

Hey Sean, you're talking about a DVD-ROM drive, right? There isn't really english language encoded on the VCD as well?

I burned the .mpg's onto a VCD and used the ATI VCD player to adjust the audio channels and voila - no more cross talk. Too bad it's not in stereo. Oh well, can't have everything for free! Thanx Sean.

For those of you wanting to know how to fix the sound (using MS media player)..
Right click on the video while it's playing, go to properties, advanced, then double click on mpeg audio. Select either first or second channel, then 'ok'. The sound is fixed and without any crosstalk.

8C - Nope, Apex AD-600A component DVD player. It disables Macrovision, CSS encryption and region protection so you can play imports and backups. You can also copy DVD to VHS.

It has a function to automatically split the audio using the Karaoke splitter.

I'm really tempted to cut & paste together a hack of the movie and get all the good scenes on one disc. No offense, of course, I just don't know Japanese and my eyesight isn't great so reading the subtitles is a b*tch.

I kept the files up for two months. You guys leached over 200 gigs. I felt it was time to take it down. If you want it, find one of the 100 or 200 people who downloaded it.

Ok guys I've got this flick on DVD and I probably won't watch it a second time. The few good shots of Scoobys and Lancers (and the hot girls) where they drove at 30mph and then sped up the film. And what's up with the weird red or blue afterimage thing they do? Like they're hitting the speed of light or something. The Nitro scene was out of control. Way out there.

Sorry I've got to give this one a thumbs down as a race flick. Thumbs up for a few hot cars and hot women.

The main guy's dad always cracks me up with his 'stick-out-my-tongue nahnahnah' maneuver.

My friends and I were laughing our asses off.

I just unplugged one speaker to get rid of the multiple languages =)

And I downloaded it the first few days it was up for those two months =)

I could probably stick it up on my dsl if somebody REALLY wants to see it but you're not missing that much. Some fun car races, some tongue waggling, but nothing spectacular.
