Default WTB: Security System Upgrade for '03 WRX

Hi, I'm just seeing if anyone has the Security System Upgrade for a '03 WRX for sale. Maybe you've upgraded to a real alarm system? If used, it must be in good condition and include ALL the parts. I posted this in the wanted section also. Anyone Bay Area local have one they want to sell?

Thanks

Are the 02 and 03 the same? If so, I have my 02 I could sell you. I just need the plug from your stock car back otherwise my car won't start.

Are you sure there is a plug? After reading your post, I've been searching through the install instructions I downloaded and I couldn't find the plug you're referring to.

There is a plug for the ignition kill. If you don't have the ignition kill module, then you must have a plug where it goes. If I take my ignition kill module out of the car, it won't start without a plug in it's place.

I don't know if the 02 and 03 are different, but it is not so clearly shown in these installation instructions:

http://subaruparts.com/install/2002isecsys.pdf

Look at page 3, number 10. Those two wire connectors are what plug into the ignition kill module. On your stock car there should be a plug the connects the two together.

I just checked that website and the install instructions are the same for 02 and 03, so I assume the kits are the same. Take your lower dash apart and see if those 2 wire connectors have a plug in them. If so, I'd be happy to sell you my kit once I pull the ignition kill module out.
