Default Question about water price........

OK..... first...... i dont have a hose that i can wash my car with, so i call my cousin and ask him can i wish it at his place.

So.......

him "your going to waste too much water"

me "I'll get you a in & out meal"

him " i dont know"

me "...... what ever hang up"

so the question is how much does it cost to wash your car in SF?? $200?!?!??! I will also say that i may use the water like about 30 min long.

you mean the one with the high pressure hose? i thought it will hurt the cars paint etc and i dont want to use there soap (witch is connected to a brush).

Other than that, i dont want walk up and down from 3 levels up carrying buckets of water.

Just don't use their brushes...wet the car, shoot soap all over it, and then use your own sponge. I've never had a problem with the high pressure hoses...of course don't spray the intercooler or over any chips in the paint...everything will be fine.

Your cousin is a cheapo!

If I lived in SF, I'd let you wash your car at my place for a beer.
If you come down to Santa Cruz, stop by and you can wash the car.
Of course we have a self washing place right nearby too.
Those places have multiple settings for the sprayer, including a nice sprinkle and you can use the brush without their soap too.

My water bill was once $300 cause the silly person that the landlady has do the sprinklers, set them to run every single day instead of once a week.
They run early in the morning and I was out of town for a week and half and didn't notice right away when I got back.
How nice a surprise I got when I opened the bill.
