Did you know you can adjust the beam level from inside the car?

Yes I did.

My car is lowered and has a little more rake than stock so the lights are now too low.

I just did this to mine. For the HID STi lights it's a small white nylon hex adjustment screw on the back of the housing. You will be adjust the beam, not the housing. Typically when a traditional headlight is adjusted the entire assembly is adjusted up or down & left or right. The HID adjustment only raises the beam pattern.

Cool,

I saw that.

It looks like a phyllips screwdriver will fit from the top down into the adjusting gears will that work?

I tried turning the nylon hex but there's little room...

To adjust the headlight beam, first look at the back of the headlight and you will see a circular piece of toothed metal. Only part of it is exposed. On the bottom of this more of the piece is exposed, rotate that with your finger and you will see the beam move.

ok people. this can be done 2 ways. the teeth on the adjusters are for a phillips screw driver. you put it in the slot above the teeth and it ligns up with them. then you turn the screw driver and it will lower or raise the beam. also the left to right on the high beams also moves the hid's
