Arrow Need help from console gaming gadget freaks

I was in a Babbages at a mall in CT a few weeks ago, and they had a gadget that I can't seem to locate anywhere. It was a switchbox for connecting a few game consoles, DVD players, whatever, to a TV or stereo. It was a standard component-stereo size, had a built-in Ethernet hub or switch for the online-capable game consoles, ran for about $99, and was I thought made by Pelican. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I can't find it on Pelican's website, EBWorld's site, or anywhere else using Google. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can find switches like this in a lot of places. I think Monster Cables makes one, and I know that you can find them at GameStop/Funcoland, Software Etc and probably Target.

Don't go to Walmart. There be 3vil there.

Just a switch. Many different kinds you can get. Go to any mid to high end stereo shop and they should have a few.

Search on the internet and you should be able to find one that suits your needs exactly.

FWIW, Gamestop sells a 5 system switch without the ethernet hub for $20. A Netgear 5-port mini 10base hub is $30.....

But that thing does look cool.

The $20 one looks like a ps2, with that kind of ridged detailing, and swappable buttons for different systems.

Considering that gamespot one does Component video, would it actually be a good idea to use one. I would worry about signal loss (if you've obsessive enough to use Component cables like I do on my Ps2 and xbox).
