Merging unto I-75 north, I was clipped in the right rear VERY HARD by some dumba$$ in a Taurus. The truck slid sideways, and before I even had a chance to react, I was upside-down sliding down I-75. Needless to say, once I stopped sliding (in the middle of I-75) I took off my seatbelt (ever tried that while upside down?) and got the hell out of there. Ambulance ride to the hospital, got picked up there by FreeBMW -THANKS- and went to find the truck and get my stuff. WOW, I can't believe I walked away from that.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Not the smoky burnout monster truck

Guess you'll have to chop the top and make it your summer cruiser.

Glad to hear you're OK.

That is a good story, anything you can walk away from is good. How far did you slide upside down? Where were you at and when? This was in the rain I take it? They nailed the Taurus right? Glad to see the rear of the cab held together for you. I can't even imagine I-75 upside down

Dixie Highway and I-75 at exit 93, about an hour before it started raining. I think I actually ran over the Taurus's left front fender, and that tipped the truck over and around, he hit me right in front of the right rear wheel. WOW, it's the first time I've ever been in a real car crash... it was at 9AM and I'm still pretty shaken.
I have yet to talk to the MSP trooper, I was on the ambulance before he even showed up, I have his card and called him, but haven't gotten a call back yet.
I have no idea how far I slid, I just remember seeing sparks, and holding my self back away from where the windshield relocated itself too. I'm ready to kill the stupid SOB that hit me right now... if I could even walk

Holy crap John Glad to hear your alright man. To think you didn't get hurt and walked away from that is amazing! I-75 gets crazy.
I didn't see it in your post, but did the taurus flee the scene or do the cops have his license number?

I'm not sure his car was even driveable... I think I ran OVER his left front fender... anyway, he was the first to run up to the truck to make sure I was O.K., still don't know if he got OWN3D by the MSP or not, they haven't contacted me.

Glad you're OK John!

How about that Maxda Millenia that Dave K was trying to sell. Needed some body work, but looked clean otherwise.

Wow John... the angle your roof is at in the picture must have been very scary while sliding upside down. I'm glad that you're okay.
