Exclamation Help: Squeaky/Creaky noise from clutch pedal...

This happens when I depress the clutch pedal. I can hear it inside the car and als when I stick my head out the door. Any ideas about what may be going on and how might I be able to fix it?

Thanks-

Robmat

Maybe your clutch linkage just needs some lube. I would get under there with a flashlight and push down on the clutch pedal with your hand to try to pinpoint the noise. Those sprays that set into grease work the best.

On my Legacy it was the clutch fork pivot point inside the bell housing. It quieted down after I dripped some Breakfree lube down some aquarium tubing into the pivot point. It helped for a while, but it had started squeaking again a couple thousand miles later. When my clutch was done, the shop cleaned and lubed it with some heavy grease. All good now. Hope it lasts.
