Wink Spotted... in Greenwood, SC!

Well, somehow a white WRX sedan wandered into my neck of the woods! That makes the first other WRX I've seen in this City since, well... I got mine in 2001.

Like I said, White WRX Sedan with a GA license plate... Richmond County? It had a Troncalli dealership thingy on the back. If you're on the board, I was the blue WRX right behind you for about a mile when the 4 lane "bypass" turned to 2 lanes.

Default Wasn't me but...

Since I have a silver WRX sedan it wasn't me but I do wander back to Greenwood a couple of times a year (and sometimes I bring my WRX). My family lives in Greenwood (ever hear of Pressley St. near the post office down town) and I make it back home when I can. Come to think of it, I've never seen another WRX in Greenwood either.

Default

lol... last year I lived in an apartment house on Cambridge ave... two houses down from the intersection of Presley and Cambridge! I was parked in the front for a while... until one of the big trees decided to land a "spear" on my hood.
Now, I'm a home owner near the south part of town with a carport... and more debt than I care to think about.

Default Cool

That's cool. My family has been in Greenwood for a while now (my Grandfather and Granny moved there sometime in the 30's I think). Being a navy brat, I didn't move to Greenwood until my senior year of high school ('84). I went to Greenwood High for one year to graduate, went to Lander for 4 years to get a BS, then to Clemson for 2 years to get a masters degree. Pressley St over by Cambridge is named after my Grandfather who worked on the church bells for one of the local churches.

I haven't read this forum in a while. You can imagine how upset I was when I read it yesterday and saw all the posts about the race in Laurens. The host hotel at the intersection of Hwy 56 and I-26 is something I pass every time I go home and is probably about 40 minutes from my parents place. When I saw all the racing rookies that went I was pretty upset that I missed it. Would have been a good first time race for me. Oh well, that's what I get for not reading this more often. Hope you guys do that again, it'll be a good excuse to go home and see my parents and nephew and neice.

Don't worry about the debt....if you wear it long enough, it gets comfortable.

Elvis (aka David Pressley)
