hi all i have a 1980 Brat with alot of goodies, i was thinking about selling it, "thinking" and want her to go to a good home. i was wondering if anyone would have interest in this. it is an 80 Brat, old paint, red with white stripe down the side and has: white pushbar(on the car) a white rollbar( not on it) it has the jump seats and carpet in the back with seatbelts and headrests. the body is straight minus a small dent by the front drivers side turn signal. and i beleive is one of the nicest Brats around. oh yeah the inside is black carpet in excellent condition with, tint. i was wondering if anyone would have "interest" in buying this and putting her back on the road seeing how my wife will not drive a manual and it is just sitting when it should be driven and enjoyed. alot of time and work has gone into it and if the interest is there i would like to maybe post it in the private classifieds. this is in the general forum because its to see if there is interest. oops also has a great car alarm

I would LOVE to have her! My first car was a BRAT, 1984, black, auto, pushbutton 4WD, same jump seats, white rollbar.... unfortunately, you're 2000 miles too far away!!! Colorado is kind of the home of BRATs I think... all the ones for sale are out your way!

Yeah.. we chatted a few nights ago, but man I'd love one of those. CO is kinda far to go for a car, and I've got to sell a few of my cars before I buy anything else, but I've wanted one for years. Plus I think being a 2 Subie man would be neat. hmmm. turbo ej20 in the RS, NA 2.5 in the brat?

initialwrx?? a Brat is only the first REAL suv in my opinion. go do a search for Subaru Brat. my Brat has gone through blizzards and other storms were the snow has been too much for big 4x4's.

Anyone think the ST-X will be produced under the Brat name? Then we'd have the Brat AND the SVX back.

Yeah BRAT's are sweet. I have an 85 GL with tht t-tops, jumps seat, brushbar and 4WD. Just need to get around to putting a new clutch in it. It's nice having an old Subaru and the RS. Hey, if anyone has the recent Car&Driver issue with the WRX take a look at the future car page. They have a Chevy Borrego(sp?)which is built on a Legacy platform with a turbocharged 2.5L. It's a cross between a pickup and car? It even says in the caption that it has a moveable rear seat which they say could make this the next gerneration BRAT? I guess that's what you get for GM owning 10% of Subaru?

I am definately in the market. I have been a loyal subie owner for decades and would cherish a Brat of my very own.
