I have had mine almost two weeks. 280 miles to the tank give or take a few on the three time I have filled up. Did mostly highway driving due to the holidays. Already hit 1400 miles

I get around 20 with normal commute driving. It broke in about 7000 miles, and the trip mileage went up to about 26 (80mph on cruise across Nev, Utah, Wyo). Also liked Chevron gas for better mileage. Dropped when I went back to east coast brands.

Mileage before 7000 miles was lucky to get above 15.

12000+ miles since July. One trip Boston-SF-Boston was a lot of that.

Default Good news Jrs2.5

Good news that you mentioned that your car broke in at around 7000 miles. I am still getting pretty poor mileage but my car only has 4000 miles on it. I hope it will improve once it is fully broken in.
The real kicker is that it really doesn't matter if I drive a lot in boost or not at all, I still get only 17mpg.
Cheers

I normally get about 18-19 mpg but I only have 1900 miles on it so far. I did notice that the last tank was one of the best mpg's I have had so maybe it is improving.

Well, the gas mileage hasn't changed, has it? Hard to believe the US STi's go that far back now!

Seems like I just drove my '06 WRX off the lot last week!

Sorry to revive this thread...Again. Not really though. Anyway...I'm getting 18 at best right now with the shorter hops than I have done the rest of the time I've owned my STI. I used to be doing 60 miles roundtrip a day, 5 days a week(and sometimes 6). I was getting fantastic mileage then... 22-25. Now I'm lucky if see 19 or 20. Even when I take longer(30-45 min) to meets, I can only get 17.5-18. Hope this isn't abnormal.

Downpipe and a reflash at minimum. I'm running a cobb turboback exhaust and cobb intake with the appropriate cobb AP stage 2 reflash.

I get 15-18mpg on my 5 mile trip to work, through downtown Newport in stop and go traffic. Pretty good with the mods I've got.

The mileage will vary greatly depending on how you drive. I can see direct correlation between my right foot, average top speed and fuel economy. Type of tires also play a role.

Around town, moderate to aggressive driving, about 17-18mpg. I've been able to achieve 23mpg on the highway, but the key factor here is avg speed. Anything above 70 will rapidly degrade your economy. For best results, drive at 65mph, and try to keep it constant. Anything above that and you will see a drop in numbers.

You guys drive in I mode? What's the point?
