Well I destroyed 2nd gear in August and of course was denied warranty by Stevens Creek. I just got my car back this afternoon from GB/MPJ with the RA gear set, and let me say wow. That combined with the Perrin downpipe and Exedy sport clutch, makes it feel like a totally different car. Thanks Mike and Gino.

That rocks. RA gears are definitely good stuff. I would, however, have called or taken your car to Subaru Santa Cruz... I bet they would have warrantied it or atleast tried their hardest to make it fly.

After driving my moms Vovlo 850 and dads 4cyl. Jetta, it is weird driving a car with power, since it has as much as those two combined literally. I'm lovin it. Yeah Mike got the speedo sender, its all good to go.

It was just the gears inside that were changed. It took awhile to locate the parts since the gears were originally on back order through Rallispec and Subaru in Japan. Then they forgot the speedo correction gear and of course the one syncro I damaged was not in stock anywhere locally and my speedo sending unit was missing along with the axle locking pins(thanks stevens creek
) Once all the parts came in MPJ/GB got it running quickly. |
