Question 15,000 Miles Service...SC or Carlsen?

Where do you reckon I should bring my WRX for it's 15,000 Miles service? I bought my car in San Jose, but DO NOT want to go there for service.

I've done my own oil changes and had Auto Innovations do my tire rotation...this will be her first service at the dealer, reason why I'm asking.

thanks in advance!

Oh..and does anyone know if this service takes more than one day?

How necessary is the 15K check up? I feel ripped off to pay someone $75 to 'inspect' my car.

15,000 Mile checklist:

-Inspect Steering and suspension
-Inspect Clutch operation
-Perform Inspect brake lines and check operation of parking and service brake system
-Inspect Disc brake pads and discs, front and rear axle boots and axle shaft joint portions
-Replace Engine oil filter
-Replace Engine oil

I second that....^

It's basically a $250 oil change...with a free car wash. I'm saving for the 30k

Just do it yourself, writing down what you did in case you need proof for warranty work.

Oil change is the main thing.
You should inspect those items too.
Write it all down.
Checked all brake lines for signs of abrasion and leaks, verified ebrake could hold car in neutral, regular brakes stop car, pads and rotors good, xx thick, all 8 shaft boots spread and checked for cracks, yada yada.
