Default Blown Main fuse and other possible damage... Please Help

Today my friend just called me to help jump start his car, and being the friend i am i went there as soon as possible to help a friend in need. Well when i got there we we tried numorous attempts to jump start the car to no avail. We figured maybe its his starter.

Mean while i told him i needed to use the bathroom so i told him to just think abou tit. when i came back, my car wouldnt start and i get no reading from the odomter and i have no power. However I get that beep noise from having the door open with the key still inside (no lights or power though).

I later asked him what happened and he said he was really sorry but he tried connecting the positive side of the jumper cables straight to where the alternator is with the red cap on top. After having him attempt to do so he said he might have touch the manifold or something metal near it and a spark flew and the car shut off. Right there and then i was pissed...

We later found out the the main fuse blew and since its a Sunday night with nothing open i couldnt get a replacement so we use a paper clip as temporary since i live 5 mins away.

Well after all said and done we got home safely... but after hearing what just hapened i worry if anything else is wrong. I plan on going to the dealership tomorrow morning the get the main fuse but would anything else be harmed by such a thing?

Any help would be appreciated since it would put me at ease.

Thanks

-Dave
