Default Strobes

Im pretty sure that they are illegal. But i've seen many BMW's at shows and stuff that have those strobes attached to the headlights, so they can flash and whatnot. I got a 2000 Legacy GT Limited Sedan, is there any way to buy a strobe kit, and attach it to headlights, allowing for a strobe to work??

I can get the strobe kit here in town for about 230.00 dollars it is a hideaway kit... you will need to drill a 1" hole in the light and have about 3/4 inch of space to the outer light... the strobes get warm fast.

The hide-away kits that cost $200+ are professional versions that public safety vehicles use, they're usually 35 or 45 watts. That means they're very bright.

If you just want "show" strobes get them off ebay for much cheaper, I think those ones are 5 or 10 watts.

Anywhere that sells specialty automotive equipment for emergency vehicles will have DOZENS of options to choose from.

A friend of mine has a $4,000.00 set on his VW Corrado that you would SWEAR was a police car on steroids.

Side question... anyone know if all VW Corrado's were supercharged?
