Talking Need a better sound out of my stock Muffler

All,
Not wanting to upgrade, but wanting to sound sweeeet, need to make my quiet, sleeper, stock,… WRX a mini monster w/out major mods. Was told can purchase end piece for the muffler to get a deeper sound. True? Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Reza

Cool

REZA,

you need to ask brucelee about the loudness. i know for sure its not as loud as his old ones...
i think any muffler shop in SF can do it for $60 w/ a mild steel cat back pipe. (try Golden Gate muffler. its by club 1015!)
hope this helps..

RimRockaz,

That won't cancel my warranty. Right? If I decide to go with it, how can I get in touch with you?

i don't think changing your muffler will void your warranty.
the muffler that i got for Brucelee is OBX dual tip full stainless steel muffler.
i am sure any performance shops in SF can get it for you. shop wisely tho!
let me know if you can't find it. i might be able to help you source one.

V is for Victory, Hippie!

Have a Nice Day?

Take a drill and put about 150 1/16" holes throughout the muffler. Substantially reduces back pressure. Adds like 100hp!!

Thanks guys!!
I'll think about it and will make up my mind as what to do. Ideally would like to make it over to one of the Install fests, so can watch, listen and learn!! But, keep the suggestions coming!

Cheers!
