Default HELP! Who's put WRX seats in their Legacy?

So, I did a test fit and realized that the seats sit at an acceptable height for me to be comfy. Found some seats and picked em up yesterday.

Now, the major problem is what in the heck size bolt goes in the hole to attach the seatbelt clip? I am REALLY frustrated with this. Can't seem to find the right bolt. Its got to be metric, I know this, and seems like it should be a 10mm. I've tried that and doesn't work, as the bolt seems to "wiggle" in the hole too much, although it is threaded in because you can't pull it out.

Please, if you've done the swap and have the ability to check for me I would REALLY appreciate it.

Oh, and I went to the local dealership and the parts guy couldn't really tell me and that bolt can't be ordered, it only comes with the whole seatbelt clip for $50+, NOT gonna happen like that.

Jared

gtwagon941 - IIRC it's M14x1.25 Your bolts from the GT's seatbelts will bolt right on!

Never mind.

Actually, the holes in the wrx seats are smaller than the GT's not to mention the fact that the GT seats don't really have screws. Rather a threaded rod with out a real head is welded/attached to the frame and can't be removed.

I just used what I had (10 x 1.25) and realized that as long as there was a nut securely on the other end it didn't really matter if the threads fit perfectly.

They're in and I'm stoked. The ride is definitely higher and I would have to recline a bit to wear a helmet in there, but that isn't a concern for me, at least for now. I'm 6'1" and I have about an inch or so to spare. I think this is almost exactly the same as the GTs in their top position. I didn't actually measure, but putting my hand up there it seemed pretty much the same. The passenger seat is actually the one that seems to have had the biggest change. Again, not an issue though.

They look really good and unless you look back and see the back seats you can't really even tell that they don't belong there.

Yea, I put STi seats in my car a few months ago...HUGE DIFFERENCE. I'm sitting up really high, but I don't really care, the feel of the seats is worth it. The only problem is that you do get used to the seats after a week or so, so you don't really feel the sudden change you did when you first got in...but when you go into another car...WOW, its bad, haha.
