Unhappy Separation anxiety

I'm set to pick up my WRX (white, 5 spd. wagon) in a few days. That means I will be selling my MY96 Impreza Outback (OBS in 97). It will be really hard to say goodbye. It's the only year the OBS had rear disc brakes. I've got Ground Control's adjustable suspension, braided brake lines, upgraded pads, Kartboy bushings, MY00 RS wheels, front/rear Primitive skidplates, foglights, armrest, K&N drop-in etc. In short, it's set up just the way I like it. But I want more power so...

I miss it already.

Thumbs up

It's ok,I know the feeling. But wait till you get behind the wheel of the wrx,you will never look back all you will do is think about the $$$ you spent on the obs.
When I got my rs 1 year ago I wondered if I really wanted to trade in my gmc for a car, well not just a car but a rs and let me tell you how happy I am today.Don't miss the truck at all, well I did one time, when I had to pick up my big screen tv.Fortunately it fit in the back of my wife's rodeo, barely.

Don't think negative about trading your OBS in. Think about everything you have done and the changes you might have made. I love my RS to death, but know that sometime I will have to get rid of it. This is the first car that I have really had the chance to mod, and although I have done the best to do things right...there are some things I would have done differently. I know that I will take the knowledge of what I have done and mistakes I have made and do the next project better. You'll love your WRX, and you know it---just wait till it is in your driveway!

Mind as well get rid of it while it's still worth some money. Especially since you're upgrading. Besides, at least you are still sticking to the Subaru name...........and you know that there is quality there.

Ken, so you're going to go for it. That's good to hear.

Don't worry, I felt the same way about my GT wagon. Then...every time that turbo spools up, you begin to forget...

Well thanks for the support. I have no doubts
about the WRX - just sadness at parting with a fun and reliable friend.

Bobski, are you over 1000 miles yet?
