Default Will WRX Springs Fit on a 97-99 Legacy GT?

I have a set of Ver 7 WRX STi springs that I want to see if they fit on a 98 Legacy GT before I sell them off.
I have a good buddy who has a sweet GT and rather then sell my springs off, i'd rather install them on his car for X-mas.

1. Will these fit?
2. Will I need to change out tophats to make them fit?
3. Any other issues I should consider aside from struts

Bry.

I do know that the WRX coilovers fit most subarus, I heard of a few people putting them on the SVX's and for the most part the suspension is the same. As for just the springs...the compresion ratio of the springs might be a little dif., def worth a shot if ya already have em! Although if ya do sell em there is plenty of coilover or spring kits out there made for your car.
