Default Blitz SBC-id-III and power meter

okay the boost controller looks like it's going to take forever to install, but where should one mount the valve unit?
As for the power-meter.. where are all the ECU connections at?

Need help with install. THanks.

I mounted my unit under the cover plate in front of the passenger strut tower. You can get it in there and use one of the mounting bolts for the existing equipment to mount the solenoid. As for the Power Meter, you can get to the ECU harness by pulling the carpet back in the passenger footwell and removing the cover plate.

I used the radio harness for all of my gauges as well as my SBC-ID when I had one. You can find all the wires you need there as well as in the clock harness. . .12V, Accessory, Ground, Illumination.

The radio harness is behind the head unit right? would I have to take it out and find the wires?

Where is the clock harness? I don't have a clock in my car.

Yes. . radio harness is behind the head unit. You'd have to remove the HU in order to gain access to the harness since it's behind the HU. The clock harness is under the center dash pod. . .I would assume if you don't have a clock there, then you probably have a gauge pod there.

There's a way to squeeze it in there. You may want to take out the mounting bracket so that you can play with it a bit. The other way to do it is to mount it to the firewall, but you'll have to use sheet metal screws to do it and hope that you don't hit anything on the other side.

okay I found a place where I can put it.

The boost controller is pretty much done, except for the 12v supply wire.. how would I do that?

The power meter.. still needs the 12v supply wire also and hooking the orange wire up to the ECU speed outlet? where in the heck is that?

Thanks Calvin, you're a huge help!

You can tap 12V power from the radio harness. . .the wire is light red. As for the ECU speed wire, what are you looking for? If it's the tach wire, then it's a Yellow wire, ECU/B136 connector/pin 24(the middle connector). . .at least on an 02 it is. I don't have the wiring schematics for the 03 or 04's.

The ECU speed outlet is for the power meter id, the instructions told me to refer to the ECU booklet, but I don't even have one of those.

It says to connect the orange wire that they supply, to the ECU speed outlet. That's where I was confused.. I have gained access to the ECU, but able to locate it.

I have to be honest and tell you that I never installed a Power Meter so I'm not sure which wire you'll have to tap. Hopefully someone who has the Power Meter can chime in and tell you which wire you need. You can also try contacting the vendor you bought the Power Meter from and asking them which wire you're supposed to tap. Sorry. . and good luck!!
