Post Scoobie from Sept Issue of MAXPower UK

i don't know if anyone has seen it but the Sept issue of MAXPower UK has an wicked looking 4 door scoobie. I have the image scanned but no way to get it on the board. Somebody wanna be my sponsor (email it too you you then post it) or give me a place to put it so everyone can see it? It has some spectacular fender flares. If the fender flares Shiv was talking about look like this for a resonable amount of money I have another item to add to the list of things I want and can't afford. Perhaps we should add another forum so people can trade internal organs (either thier own or someone else's) for Scoobie parts? Anyway hopefully someone will help out.

Bob

Thumbs up

I like the fender flares and rear wing. Don't care for the hood, headlights or front fascia, though. Why take a rally car and remove all the suspension travel???? I thought the Brits only cared about rallying their Imprezas.

Watchya

It is actually a French car..

If I recall, the article was about a French car show they went to (admits to reading Maxy P)

We do prefer Rally cars.. not nancy show cars

In this issue there is actually two subies. That one and another in blue I think.(smaller pic) I agree that the Max Power here sucks compared to the one from overseas and US can't post girls like that with being on the playboy rack. "I would like one Playboy, a Hustler, oh and a Max Power. Come to Daddy!" (ha,ha) At least it makes sense. Nice curves in a mag with nice curves.

Have a Nice Day?

Its an ok magazine, but there's a lot of T&A, and some not so informative articles. If we had one here in the USA, it'd probably be all Hondas and Eclipses riced beyond belief.

As for the Impreza, its a pretty cool piece of artwork, but I don't know how functional it would be.

I like MAXPower UK, the writing while not being that informative is damn funny, puts MAXPower US to shame. Plus it's nice to see some really nice modded cars without 80ft^2 of vinyl all over them. They have that clean look.

As for the scoobie, it's cool but impractical. I mean there is now way I would venture into a gravel parking lot for some doughnuts. I simply liked the fender flares, as I wouldn't mind having a set added to my car. They give it a more aggresive look, and aggresive is what it is all about. I'm not crazy about the front, either.

I like it the car. Well except for the super low ride height its a great car. The hood is probably either a carbon fiber that has been painted or a fiber glass. Either way its done pretty well. The headlights aren't my thing but hey its not my car either. Anybody know who actually made the bodykit?

I like it wide, but it sits too low. One back road in VT would kill it. The hood looks kind of 70's vette like. Not my style.

Proof positive that every person has different tastes.

I think this car rocks!!!!!!

Love the front hood and the front lights. The front bumper is a little too much as is the back end. The spoiler is somewhere in between. Beeeutiful paint job and the rims are awesome, but 18" rims are hardly functional. They would look great in 17" I'm sure.

My 2 cents.

Cheers,
MB
