Just like to say a hello, and mention how nice this board looks so far.
I'm sort of a board hopper, (read: not a troll) being members of honda-acura.net, off-topic.net, newcelica.org, supraforums.com, is300.net, acura-tl.com, ls6.com, and prolly a few others I've missed. Needless to say I love all cars. Scoobies included. You all have very nice rides, and I look forward to enjoying your company. btw anyone wanna guess what I drive? Kenny |

Honestly who doesn't want to drive a Supra TT? They're fast as hell!
Here's a hint, if I raced a Scoobie, it'd be pretty close. |

Even *I* know force is equal to mass times acceleration. And I don't consider myself a physics guy.
![]() My guess...maybe an Accord? That or a Teg. |

Well here it is, its not modded much at all and the pix are outdated:
Satin Silver Metallic 1999 Acura 3.2 TL: Dirty Dirty Exhaust So far, I've got done a Cold Air intake, Comptech Dual Exhausts, Neuspeed Springs, 18" Katana Concept 5's in 225/40ZR18's, and a pair of Kenwood 10"s on a RF 360a2. It puts around 240 hp at the crank... (With the vtec sticker on of course lol) I've done just about all those mods this past summer. Along with little things like a different steering wheel/shiftknob, 35% metallic tint, carbon fiber emblems, and a custom front grill... I'm happy with it, but it could be peppier. I've gtech'd it at 7.05 0-60 and 15.52 1/4. Not bad for a grocery getter, but my goal is somewhere in the 6's and 14's. and around 280-290 hp at the crank. (All in good time though) |

Yeah you'd be surprised how many ppl don't know F=ma, geez.
Though the Type R never crossed my mind, now that I think about it in retrospect, it would have been very nice. I miss the widespread aftermarket. Most tuners for the TL have a monopoly on the parts. Mugen makes very little, and its very pricey. Comptech is here in the US, but their prices are high as well... $600 for an axleback exhaust, and $1000+ for headers. (Mugen charges $1200+ for just an axleback exhaust) How much nicer it would have been to mod an Si or an ITR... But I'm happy, and that's all that matters. |

Beautiful car, I admire your taste. If it came in a stick, I'd of been all over it. Since you like sedans, the new WRX may just be your cup of tea.
When I was a poor college lad (assuming from your em address) I was happily driving an '86 civic. I loved that little fellow -- 90 HP doesn't seem so bad when the car weighs < 2000 lbs. I killed it with abuse (broke a camshaft). sniff. The TL's do look best in silver and black. JD |

GA Techie?! I am from Marietta and just about all of my friends went there. Have you ever seen a 1971 red Cutlass conv. running around campus? It had a white top but is black now.....it's loud as hell (and would be quick if the engine didn't lunch itself), so you'd probably know it if you saw it. He was in the homecoming parade last year I think. Anyway, welcome aboard.

Yeah I'm a Ramblin Wreck...
Hmmmmm your buddy owns a cutlass... I wouldnt know if I saw it or not. Mostly imports catch my eye more than anything... Especially competition, being a few E46 3 series, and a Type S on campus... Yeah the HID's, Sportshift, Leather, and power everything sold me on this car. I revved on a scoobie once, I was in front him thought at a light, and I saw him smile. He didn't race though, prolly cause he was with his girl. I'd like to run up against one some day. I absolutely love the styling. |

Being in school I'm pretty sure that is force = mass x acceleration.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I hope I get an "A" on this quiz ![]() Turk http://www.clubimpreza.com |
