Since a picture is worth a thousand words, you're hands must be cramping about now. What is that, 25,000?

That tan is just gorgeous in all of those pictures, though I don't like the Atlantic Blue as much as the other Legacy's. It makes me want to go camping, though I'd be afraid to dirty that ivory leather. They need to make an interior more like Infiniti's "brick" or BMW ///M Cinnimon leather. That way dirt would blend in better.

I guess the fully reclineable seat is supposed to make up for the lack of a fold down rear seat. Can't we just get both? Oh yeah, in a wagon.

Default Interior shots

These are the best I've seen to date, and really give you a feel for the richness and quality Subaru has attained with this new generation of Outbacks.

Default Exterior badging, or lack-there-of...

Interesting to note that the new Legacys and Outbacks don't have any extra badges denoting "H-6" or various trim levels ("R" or "i"). The only way of noting these trim levels is via wheels and color of cladding. I like this a lot. I'm not at all fond of extra badges, as they clutter up the look. Honda does this with their Pilot and minivan. I hope this trend carries over to US-spec models.

The current Legacy front seats recline that far already. You just have to take the headrest out.
Have I missed something? Where does it say the back seats don't fold down? I though they were supposed to have that fancy one button fold down thing. It would be idiotic if the rear seats didn't fold.

badges could and probably will change for usdm legacies.

The car looks much better without the two tone paint than it does with. Looks very "upscale." hmmmmm......

oh, and gorgeous photographs, mad props to subaru for those stunning shots.

I'm gonna have to sit in one and feel the materials, but so far this looks like I can finally get my wife to quit buying VWs and get into a Subaru. And we can finally rejoice the death of the two-tone paint scheme.

Nice job, Subaru!

Sorry about being vague. It's the sedan that the rear seats don't fold down still. The only way to get the fold down rear seats will be in the wagon.

That's an awesome grille. And they don't have to deal with ugly roofrack even on the outbacks. Lucky JPN bastards.

Why do there appear to be three cam lobes per a valve on that picture of the engine???? There doesn't seem to be any cam followers or rocker arms that could allow a switchover from the different lobes. So whats up?

Hey everybody!

I was just looking at the picture of the H6 engine taken from above, and suddenly I can see the new Subaru grille in it. Can you see it or I'm just allucinating?

Bye!
