Default source for LHD prodrive lights

So the Feds or some lawyers are preventing all of us honest, hardworking, loyal Americans from obtaining the safety equipment that should have come on our wrx's in the first place. IE: No more prodrive headlights (and maybe Morettes?). This from the folks at Prodrive USA.

I've finally tired of night lighting that just barely exceeds the abilities of the headlights on my Geo Metro. I'm ready and willing to spend my money and now the whole aftermarket light business has been shut down?

Can someone illuminate this topic with the whyfores etc?

In the meantime, does anyone have a Euro-connection for obtaining the LHD version of these lights direct?

angry , bummed , curious

Default LHD STI Projectors

Cut a long story short - i bought my RHD WRX in Belgium because it was far far cheaper - 6000 off UK list price.
I wanted RHD projectors for the UK but the garage that sourced the car couldnt do this - they said that they could only get LHD items.
Therefore i sourced my Projectors from the UK but this might be of help for u sourcing LHD items.

Really? Are you sure you're not talking about just HID?

There are still plenty of vendors listing these for sale.

I think the law thing pretains to HIDs on non projector headlights

and as far as I know it hasn't really been enforced because I didn't see any change in the market after this "took effect"

I'm pretty sure www.cc-b.com sells LHD Sti projectors, Morettes and Ociari (which look pretty close to the prodrive ones)

From talking with the folks at Prodrive it seems that Hella wanted out of the picture, so prodrive headlights are going away until a replacement manufacturer is sourced. That was the story on the day I called.

I did manage to snag one of the last sets through a dealer in Florida.

awesome, cc-b.com does carry lhd projectors, as well as the plug-in harness.

..and they also have the switch for the light levels... BUT they do not have the harness to make it work. I plan on calling them to see if its something they may just not have listed, but does anyone know where i can get this from? is there a part number that i can order it though the dealer?
