Default Automatic trans torque converter

I just had a pro torque torque converter installed in my car after about 50 miles of driving it my check engine light came on and my At Oil Temp light came on? What could this possibly be? everything was installed properly i have a trannycooler, the only thing i can thing of is a bad sensor or my chip, i have the old turbo xs chip for automatic not the utec , that might be throwing it off. My oil heat is not rising, i have plenty of oil in my engine and in my transmission. As soon as i turn the car on even after a whole day of sitting the lights still go on. If ne body can help me i would appreciate it so much THANK YOU

go have your tranny codes pulled, as well as ECM codes. No sense in us guessing what the problem is when your computer knows the problem.

Are you sure the tranny cooler is hooked up properly? If that thing has the hoses backwards it wont cool it at all and the trans fluid will get hotter and hotter because instead of sending cooler fluid back to the tranny its still hot.

Try disabling the unichip to see if the same problem occurs.
If that solves the problem you know it is the unichip.
I tried installing a unichip i bought off ebay for a stick, Then engine ran, but i remember that the tranny light was on.
Next, check out www.projectwrx.com to see if the tranny cooler is connected the right way round. The guy...Jorge..claims to have the fastest auto wrx.. Good Luck

trymyrex-is the light just flashing or is it solid? i had one installed in mine also and when i accelerate my AT oil temp will flash, it will continue to flash until i turn off the car and turn it on again, i had codes pulled and nothing involving the tranny came up. so i think its fine, but thats my car, yours could be diff.
