Default HID kit recommendations

Does anyone have a preference for a particular HID kit? What are the quality brands/models. The Canadian STI Spec comes without HID.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

there are a bunch of posts on hid's if you do a search. just so you know, the H1 lowbeams are not a plug and play deal like most bulbs. you're going to need to cut a new hole in the cap for the wires and seal it well. it's a pain in the butt and i have my kit sitting here and don't want to deal with it.

i don't know what the projectors are like, but in a 2004 lamp the H1 bulb is sealed off inside the lamp with a cap. the power wires have a hole through the cap which is sealed off. the HID kit will have a separate set of wires to the bulb so you need to make them fit through the cap in place of the original ones.
