Thanks to all the people who posted info the other night about my 'fitament' problems with the 225's. They're on there, the backs are rubbing a bit, but fortunatly, these tires are almost gone, and I'll just go with a 215. Anyone had luck, or no luck with 215's? (once again, they are +48 offset Rota's and I'm running Tein HA's).

I'm running 215/45/17 Kumho 712's on Rota Subzeros, 17x7.5" ET 48. The car is slightly lowered with Whiteline Control springs on KYB GR-2 struts.
No rubbing. I have not put a large amount of weight in the back yet, but there appears to be plenty of fender clearance. I did pull the little rubber fender trim out, long ago, but that was because they were ugly and peeling off, not because of any rubbing issues. Most 2nd gen. Legacy folks seem to do fine with 215's and a reasonable amount of lowering. Your car looks good, but you need a better pic The black wheels seem to disappear entirely.-Brian |

I've got 215/45/17 Yokohama A520s with no rubbing issues on +52 offset rims and lowered about 1.25 inches.

Looks great! You shouldn't have any issues with the 215's and the et48's.

I HAD the same wheels as Jacob at one point... 17"x7 Team Dynamics Motorsports +50 offset, if I recall correctly. Sounds like 225's fit if the offest is correct, but with <+50 and lowered is a rubbing combo?

I have 215/45s on UK 17x7" WRX wheels. With the car lowered about 1" on my old DMS Golds I had no rubbing problems.
