Thumbs up Rigoli's go 10.844 @ 128.98mph

I just wanted to post a congratulations to the Rigoli boys (from Sydney, Oz) for their record breaking run this weekend at the Jamboree held in Australia. They now have the claim to quickest WRX in the world with a 10.844 @ 128.98mph in the 1/4 mile.

Glad to see their hard work paying off. Sure would be nice to see someone on this side of the pond give them a challenge though!!

Cheers,
Trey

WOW! Tell them to come out here so we can set them up on some street races... That'd sure as hell scare the local domestic crowd. "Yeah sure, we'll let you use your full 150-shot of nitrous. Us? We're just turbo. What? $2500? Yeha ok, that sounds good."

Holy *****! That's fast. I want a ride. I can only imagine being slammed back in the seat and having my internal organs rearrange themselves when that thing launches. Has anyone ever been in a car that quick? Must be insane...

Hello,

That's 0.04 seconds behind Byron, though I think that's about 2 mph faster. So I guess the L-tranny and near-stock pressure plate allows Byron to get a better launch, even though he's a little shorter on HP at the top end

Joel the smartass.

Yeah, that was with a "poor" 1.7xx 60-foot time too. I've seen some timeslips from 'Dom' in the low 1.6xx times.

I'm just glad to see they finally achieved their goal of the fastest WRX...I'll forgive the fact that they're Australian. hehe

It won't be long before the title comes to America where it rightfully belongs. (Oh I can see rsquire steaming!).

Thumbs up

Heck yeah! Let me know when you're ready Andre!!! We can build up one of your EJ25s, we'll put together one of our full dog gear boxes with custom ratios, full diffs all around, big turbo, big boost, big fun!!

We can do it, just need some deep pockets. Heck, I helped with building a 9 second import before (RX7.COM), so I know we can do it again! No worries mate, we'll have the aussies crying in their coldies.

Let's do it!!

Could you imagine an Impreza that ran in the 9's? That'd just be CRAZY. I might even be willing to do it to my own car since I know I'd be able to make the money back on street racing easily enough.

rsquire - if you know where I can get VB here in the states, let me know. I tried to smuggle some back with me but didn't make it through customs. Can't find it anywhere!

Cheers,
