nonsense... i think this is one of those resistor mods. you can do the same thing with a resistor from radio shack for about 8 cents, not that its even worth that much.

If anybody wants to verify the usefulness of this "mod", do this:

1) Get a 0 ohm - XXX ohm potentiometer

2) Wire it inline with the IAT sensor

3) Get some dyno time

4) Do multiple runs, each time adjusting the potentiometer so the resistance is larger. Start at 0 ohms for a base run.

5) Look at the dyno graphs. They don't lie

Sounds like that could give you some detonation in hot weather. Maybe that's just me....

its a scam. it might give you .5 hp gain, and yes advancing timing that much will probably give detonation without race gas. especially on a turbo.
