Post Anybody attend the European Rally School?

The one in Starke, Florida? (Website: http://www.gorally.com ) I am spending the rest of the year working in Gainesville, and thought I might take a day off to go play in the dirt. Anybody been?

Cool, I used to live in Gainesville. It's been 6 years though.

I too would like to hear of some experiences from that class.

Hmmm - I guess nobody's been.

They have a Scooby for a school car. Looks like you drive it in the advanced class. I think the Focus is the beginner car.

I've heard he has a couple of neat cars, but it's big $$$ if you want to play with an Alltrac or WRX.

I asked the rally crowd about him when he first opened the school and I couldn't find anyone with anything nice to say, so I stopped asking...

I believe the same outfit sells aftermarket Audi parts.

$675 for a one-day is a bit steep.

But if you could get into a WRX....

$675 for a days tuition!!!

At last, something that is cheaper in the UK than the US!!!! Hurrah!!!!!

I feel so good now, I think I'm going to go and book a course, in a pukka rally car. The only trouble is which one? There are so many, and so cheap...........

Geezer

P.S. On a more serious note, $675 dollars will be worth it just for the ride with the instructor, if he's any good. When I went, our instructor was the reigning British champion of the time, and believe me, you have no idea of how to drive a car quickly until you've been with someone of that calibre.

If this is a real driving class, $675 isn't bad at all. The price for a 3-day rally class at Team O'Neil is $2400 or $800 per day. I beleive the cost for a 5 day class with ERS is only $2400, a relative bargin.

Has anyone priced a sportscar driving class lately? They typically run $2000-$3200 for 3 days!!!
